The long-awaited online version of Days of Wonder’s Memoir ’44 has finally been released. They call it a Beta version, but I’ve played almost a dozen games already with no problem. The online version allows you to play against an AI (who is quite good), or real people from around the world. When you sign up, you get 100 “gold ingots” which allow you to play 50 games against the AI, or 100 games against another player. After that, you will have to buy more ingots.

It’s worth your time to check it out, even if you only end up using your free ingots. The game play is very clear and easy to understand. I would even recommend this to new people to learn the game against the AI.
